Factiva is the World Wide Web version of Dow Jones News/Retrieval. It provides same day, full-text coverage, for The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Financial Times of London, and business sections from 54 papers around the country. It also provides full-texts of over 265 regional newspapers and 175 international publications and papers. Approximately 2800 business and trade publications are also included.

Federal News Service (FNS)
Federal News Service an online database that provides verbatim transcripts of the actual words spoken by American leaders on matters of official government policy and other issues of the day, the same day. FNS produces transcripts of Presidential statements; briefings at the White House, State, Defense and Justice departments; speeches and press conferences of major political leaders and spokespersons; and congressional hearings.

GPO Access
Government Printing Office announced free use of its GPO Access online service beginning December 1, 1995. All Internet and dial-in users can receive electronically, at no charge, the Congressional Record, Federal Register, Congressional bills, and other important government documents on the same day of publication. The number of databases offered online via GPO Access is more than two dozen, and they can be accessed via the Internet.

Lexis-Nexis provides online full-text legal, news and business information from over 3,200 legal and business publications.

ProQuest Direct
Accessible on the Internet through the World Wide Web, ProQuest Direct provides immediate access to an extensive collection of newspapers, journals, periodicals, magazines, and other information sources. It provides access to over 400 full text periodicals in the following formats: citations, abstracts, full text, image and image/text. It also provides citations and/or abstracts of over 1600 periodicals and newspapers including New York Times.

STAT-USA
The Stat-USA contains crucial and timely business and economic information produced by Federal agencies. The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economics and Statistics Administration supports this online information resource.
