The U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Section sponsored the production of an American musical, Nine, March 9^th – 14^th, by students of LASALLE College of the Arts, a leading arts institution that awards degrees in design, fine arts, and performing arts. As part of its 25^th anniversary celebrations, music students from the College put together an outstanding production based on the book by American playwright Arthur Kopit and lyrics by Maury Yeston. The Tony Award-winning musical was well received by audiences in the arts and creative industries, musical groups, Singapore government officials, and key members of the diplomatic community.
