Critically acclaimed photographer Steve McCurry, best known for his “Afghan Girl” photo, headlined Singapore’s Month of Photography Asia with a solo exhibition of his work at Singapore’s Asian Civilizations Museum (ACM). McCurry also gave talks to students and members of the public at schools, arts venues and at the National Library, and conducted workshops for photo journalists from Singapore’s major publications. Drawing on his 30 years of experience working in virtually every country in Asia, McCurry shared his deep respect for his subjects and their cultures.
