Jazz Performance to Commemorate U.S. Independence Day

To commemorate U.S. Independence Day in Singapore, Public Affairs Section organized a jazz performance at the Esplanade Library, an American Connections partner, on July 5. Renowned American jazz artist Scott Wilson, who has diverse international performance credits and who is also the President Elect of the International Association for Jazz Educators Utah Unit, enthralled the audience with his performances on the trumpet. He was accompanied by a pianist, guitarist and a vocalist who sang a variety of popular songs to a toe-tapping group of jazz lovers.
