Enclosed is a Solicitation for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) preventative maintenance services at the U.S. Embassy (Chancery building). (Please click on live link)
The Solicitation requires the Contractor to perform scheduled maintenance on the HVAC system. The Contractor may be required to perform unscheduled and emergency services subject to the Government’s approval. The contract does not include replacement parts for equipment which, if required, will be purchased by the Government.
The number of hours for unscheduled/emergency services are estimates, and are for information purposes only, based on historical usage. The Embassy makes no guarantee that future usage will be exactly the same.
If you would like to submit a offer, follow the instructions in Section L of the RFP, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on Block 8 of the Standard Form 33 that follows this letter.
A site visit/pre-proposal conference will be conducted on June 21, 2007 (Thurs) at 9.30 am. Interested companies must submit name of company, name(s) of attendees, I/C numbers and vehicle numbers to stellah@state.gov or fax 6476-9003 by June 19, 2007 (Tues).
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial offers, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
Other information
Offers are urged to submit written questions by fax at least three workdays prior to the scheduled pre-proposal conference date. Questions shall be addressed to the attention of the Contracting Officer at fax no. 6476-9089 or
Calvertrd@state.govAttendees may also bring written questions to the proposal conference. No questions will be answered at the conference. Answers will be provided in a written amendment.
Statements made by the Government at the pre-proposal conference shall not be considered to be a change to the solicitation unless a written amendment is issued.
- Following the conference, amendments which will include answers to questions, if any, will be posted on the Embassy’s website.
The close date and time for this solicitation is July 20, 2007 (Fri) at 4.30 pm Singapore time.
The validity of the offer is 120 days from close date.
Submissions by fax or e-mail will NOT be accepted. Offers shall be mailed to the address indicated at Block 8 of page 1 (SF 33). Hand-carried submissions will be received at the Embassy’s front receptionist post before 4.30 pm each day before the time and date set forth in Block 9.
