The Glenn Miller Orchestra Performs in Singapore

The U.S Embassy’s Public Affairs Section organized a performance at the LASALLE College of Performing Arts, October 29, by the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, one of the most popular and sought after big bands in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. The event included a forty minute performance followed by a lively Question and Answer session. The student musicians had the opportunity to interact with the nineteen band members after the program. U.S. Ambassador Patricia Herbold attended this community outreach event and was joined by LASALLE’s new president and senior faculty members.
