Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), part of the Department of Justice, is the lead U.S. law enforcement agency for enforcing the drug laws and regulations of the United States of America. DEA is charged with bringing to justice those organizations and principal members of organizations involved in the illegal growing, manufacturing, or distribution of drugs in the United States. DEA also conducts joint investigations with foreign counterparts targeting international drug trafficking and drug money laundering organizations located outside the united States. In addition, DEA provides in-country and U.S. based training for our foreign partners engaged in our common battle against international drug trafficking. The DEA Singapore Country Office has regional responsibility for Indonesia and Brunei.
