Enclosed is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for supply and installation of concrete planters for the American Embassy Bandar Seri Begawan.  To obtain the RFQ, please click on live links below --

The RFQ requires the Contractor to manufacture 29 concrete planters and install them around the Embassy located at Teck Guan Plaza, Bandar Seri Begawan.

If you would like to submit a quote, follow the instructions in Section J of the RFQ, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it as requested in Section J.8.

A site visit/pre-proposal conference will be conducted on February 21, 2008 (Thurs) at 11.00 am.  Interested companies must submit name of company, name(s) of attendees and I/C numbers to Robin Guna at fax 673-222-7830 by February 19, 2008 (Tues).

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to a responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract based on initial offers, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Statements made by the Government at the pre-proposal conference shall not be considered to be a change to the solicitation unless a written amendment is issued.

Following the conference, amendments which will include answers to questions, if any, will be posted on the Embassy’s website.

The close date and time for this RFQ is March 4, 2008 at 4.30 pm, Singapore time. The validity of the quote is 60 days from close date.
