American Votes: The U.S. Presidential Election

On November 3, the U.S Embassy’s Public Affairs Section organized an elections-eve event at the Jurong Regional Library featuring an interactive discussion between two Republicans and Democrats living in Singapore on the hotly contested U.S. Presidential Elections. An Embassy officer began the two-hour session by providing a background on the U.S. electoral process. The four speakers from both the parties then engaged the audience with explanations and justifications on why their presidential candidates should win the race to the White House.
