Ambassador Participates in AMCHAM's "Corporate Community Day"

AmCham's inaugural Corporate Community Day was held on Saturday, September 27, 2003.
With an estimated 300 to 400 volunteers - each contributing up to six hours - AmCham's Corporate community day proved to be a truly memorable one for volunteers and beneficiaries alike. Activities were generously sponsored and organized by member companies, ABN Amro, Cargill, ExxonMobil, General Electric and United Technologies Corporation. The event was also co-sponsored by the National Volunteer Center.
Activities included kite flying at Pasir Ris Park, a blood drive, an Amazing Race on Sentosa, arts appreciation for students in need, and grocery distribution to the aged and destitute in Red Hill.
